I have signed as I have worked in the NHS / UK & I can see the deference between the Irish & The UK Health Service including GP income & tax .

This is a crisis situation which is currently maintained by the enabling actions of remaining GPs, This is close to collapse

No FEMPI reversal no future for Irish general practice.

GPs have to be properly resourced, otherwise we'll end up with half the population unable to find a GP, thereby increasing the load on already overstretched A&E services.

It’s almost as if DOH have a policy to dismantle General Practice, the one bit of the quite dysfunctional health service that worked well. Time to call it for what it is. Why more FEMPI for GPs than others, why some reversal for all except GPs. And where have all the promises of a new GP contract gone? up in hot air! Please reverse FEMPI and work with GP orgs to create something more workable than a 40 yo contract, or else answer to the Irish population.

These cuts have really impacted the extremely disadvantaged patients we serve

It makes perfect sense to adequately fund GP's. They are the first point of contact for patients and act as a buffer for the emergency departments. Reduced GP services will result in a total melt down of A&E's all over the country!
