GPs are everyone's first resource for heslth care. My GP has literally saved my life and made my late wife's life so much easier in her last years. GPs MUST be properly funded. Doing so will SAVE the HSE money on hospital care.

Time is running out. I left GP for a career break. I won't go back unless things change.

@SimonHarrisTD #reverseFEMPI @HSELive @DonnellyStephen @RTEprime_time A lot of people don't get it: if your income is 'x' and your fixed expenses as 0.5 x, then a 40% cut in 'x' amounts to a 80% cut in income. FEMPI was an emergency measure ultimately intended to be reversed when times got better without preconditions and out the bullying and coercive attachable string-weaving for which GPS are being singled out. General practice is being choked financially and is on its last legs. Young doctors are leaving in their droves. Who could blame them. Reverse FEMPI in its entirety now or its general practice RIP.

FEMPI reversal imperative for survival of Irish General Practice! It is anti-patient as well as anti- doctor not to reverse the cuts to this vital primary care service! It achieves nothing but negative and false economics to starve such a vital public and community service of funding! Will end up costing the tax payer more in the long run as GPs can do things cheaply and efficiently in comparison to secondary care! It’s a no brainer! Beware the ballot box if u allow the demise of GP!

FEMPI reversal essential and needs to be addressed promptly. Anything else is blatant sabotage of primary care. GPs are the cornerstone of primary care. Do it Simon before too late!!!

If you don't mind the gps there is going to be a 3 rd world service in hospitals as they will never able to cope with the volume. Be very careful. Gps should be allowed and payed to do scans ect
