Attitudes that she has expressed on twitter are clearly indicative of a personal hatred and prejudice towards whites, which were and still are acceptable by the standard of disparity of what is considered permissible free speech between blacks and other races, particularly whites. A white professor would have already lost his job and would probably never teach again for airing such vicious, pathetically discriminatory, and arrogantly subjective opinions on race in America, a fact which, in an endeavor to achieve racial parity of free speech, is very disappointing and frustrating. Racism does not belong to blacks, and if we are to achieve true equality, then we cannot deem it acceptable to allow those of color to voice any outrageous and hateful comment with hardly any fuss while any white making the same comment is publicly shamed and attacked. By definition, the comments she made are clearly racist and sexist. She reminds me of a black George Wallace; racists like her only push us as a society further from racial equality. She is not an advocate of liberty, justice, and equality, she is instead an agent of hatred, prejudice, and bigotry, the likes of which are responsible for racial oppression and violence in America today and throughout history.

As the mother of two white sons I am deeply offended by Grundy's comments and incredibly disgusted that Boston University has not terminated her employment. I will NOT even consider sending my children to BU as long as she is there.

Racism has no place in our higher education system. We are growing very tired of the obvious double standard.

Racism goes both directions. Ms. Grundy happens to be an African American racist who rants about whites. She does not belong at a racially diverse university nor should she be teaching.
The problem with society is we can also "teach" our children and students to be racists. With her irresponsible tweets and lack of remorse, she does not belong in any teaching environment.

This knife cuts both ways.. I am a person of color because my color is white.. no one can tell me how to feel about biased comments made against my race.. if blacks can scream loud enough and be heard than I am offended that she is getting away with what a white person can not. It's time to end prejudice against white people.

Racism has no place in our educational system. She is clearly racist and incapable of teaching a diverse population in a fair and professional manner. Not only that but she is ignorant to think this would be tolerated (and I certainly hope that it will not be tolerated just because she is a black, not white, racist.

I am a BU alum, these are completely unacceptable comments targeting a specific population in our country - racism from any race should have a zero-tolerance policy, no one should "get a pass".
