As a person of color, I feel this type rhetoric comes from a place of understandable anger and frustration with certain elements of society. However by and large this type of thinking is more harmful and shortsighted and someone in a position of shaping young minds shouldn't be teaching others to brush such broad negative strokes on any race of people.

I have 2 white sons that attend BU. I will never give any money to BU until Dr. Grundy is fired. I urge all existing students and all alumni to not give any money to BU. Screw BU!!

I read, with disdain, Ms. Grundy's tweets on SoCawlege.com. How someone managed to attain a PhD yet remain so ignorant is beyond my imagination. The only thing worse than her racist rants would be putting her in a position of authority to contaminate other minds. She should not attain a position at Boston University.

The drunken University of Oklahoma frat boys singing that chant during a private party on a bus were expelled. This angry, bitter woman takes to a public forum to spew her hatred and it's no big deal. White boys should steer clear of her classes; they will never be graded fairly.

How can she teach young white males while she clearly is being racist? How can she be allowed to teach anyone actually? She definitely would not be teaching my kids while I pay for the education. People are on scholarships from the government, how can she be allowed to use our government funds to teach when we all know now how she really feels. No need to shut down her twitter feed, She clearly meant what she was saying. I would rather be able to see what else she thinks. Has she not ever taken a social media class or have seen a new employee orientation video that employees would normally sign off on? I know that this is unacceptable? She should know better. If she doesn't know better she really doesn't need to teach and if she does know better she needs to be let go. These are her thoughts, what are her actions? I hope she doesn't have children already. I know she is a grown person but where are her parents!!!!!!

This racist hatred and terrorism of white Anglo males has made me reluctant to persue higher education-I think of the many deep ways anti-male racist have hurt me in life-I just want to cry and sob-please fire this SOB ASAP !!

Look if a white person said it they lost there income or had to sell a team Paula dean,Donald sterling. Now that she said it black people think its OK,2000 signatures and 200 to fire the white race. So with that being said now you tell me who the real racists are. Blacks want to say they are the victims of e erything...... There true feelings came out on this one.......until this is taking care of we will always have racism.......most blacks don't like whites and vice versa.......until the higher ups or the people teaching kids get along and really like or even tolerate we will hate each other until the end of time....

Racism is a two way street. And if you aren't part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Saida Grundy is obviously part of the problem. Shame on Boston University for promoting racism and bigotry.
