I think most people are tired of double standards when it comes to talking about race. Everyone knows that white person would be fired for saying what Grundy said. It's time to start holding people of other races to the same standard.

A racist is a racist. If she is too ignorant to realize her tweets are appallingly racists, she is too ignorant to teach. Fired her immediately and send her back to school.

Someone who either (a) doesn't understand the complexities, nuances, and interconnectedness of race and gender relations or (b) understands them but chooses to oversimplify - effectively lying - in order to advance a personal agenda is either (a) intellectually under-qualified or (b) too intellectually dishonest to be an educator.
I don't know whether it's (a) or (b). Either way, this woman should not be an educator.
PS - That's not even addressing the issue of Title IX considerations and potential lawsuits.
