Petition to Terminate Boston University's Racist professor Saida Grundy

I am truly saddened that she does not see how sexist and racist her comments are. A teacher needs to have a more balanced perspective.

Racism is bad, whoever express it, and it is worst when it comes from a university professor because of the power she has over her students. This is awful and must be stopped.

She is a racist and should not be teaching anyone anything. The position she is in gives her the opportunity to pollute young minds.

To tarnish the reputation of a university is one thing, but to tarnish it for flat out racism and sexism (even against my own people) is another. She will never release these ideas so her seat needs to be traded for a professional who will do the job properly. There is no room for this type of behaviour.

While normally I dislike calling for someone to be fired, there is no room for racism in positions of power. Least of all over students. Grundy should either put forth a proper apology to the students she called "problematic" all over the world, or she should be removed from a teaching position permanently. If you would not allow a Klansmen to teach your children, then you should not allow Saida Grundy to teach your children.

University is supposed to be a place for everyone regardless of race gender or creed. Racism and sexism is still racism and sexism regardless of it being directed toward a man,woman,black,white, Muslim, Christian person. Her own racism and sexism clearly presents a conflict of interest for someone who is supposed to be a staff member of Boston University. Terminating her is the only course of action due to the nature of her ramped sexism and racism.

Racist views such as hers have no place in education. She reflects nothing but shame on any center of learning that employs her.

No one with such vocal racist and sexist "passions" should have a position of such influence over the lives of students.

I'm signing this because I don't believe this bigot will be able to grade the papers of white male students fairly.

Can't imagine this woman approaching her students with fair, unbiased education. She is too busy grinding axes to be a teacher of any subject.

In the spirit of EQUALITY, I sign this as to not further embolden racism in all it's forms.

One way or another, double standards are going to end. We can start with this.

Racism in any form has no place in the educational system. To make blanket statements about any group based on their ethnicity is the definition of racism. The complete lack of fact in her tweets verifies that she speaks from an emotive position rather than one of facts. College discourse should be based in fact not the visceral personal response of the educator.

She should be removed from her position because she obviously does not know about African American culture.

A university space should be inclusive. Period. When you start spouting racist nonsense, you exclude others. It should NEVER have gotten to the point where university staff can spout racism and get this far with it.

Boston University needs to distance themselves from this vile racist and sexist bigot.
