This is a perfect example of how the first amendment gets twisted all around and people get free speech all screwed up in their minds. I refuse to believe our founding fathers ever had comments like this in mind as a way of expressing themselves. Its just ugly and hateful! I will also point out that several of her comments are in no way accurate or factual and this woman has a doctorate! There is no way Boston University can convince their students or alumni that this woman can teach a classroom without showing bias! That is an impossibility therefore they must remove her.
Boston University has to consider the reputation of the university in this matter and take into consideration its students and the validity of its degrees moving forward if this woman is allowed to teach their.

How can Boston University justify this double standard? If this professor was a white woman spewing the same vitriolic racist, sexist comments about young black men on campus we know without a doubt she would have been terminated immediately. The hypocrisy is obvious and disturbing.

A white basketball team owner was forced to sell his team for what he said to one person in private, yet this black woman has " the right to free speech even if it is mean and hateful". White privilege???????? MY ASS!!!!!!!

As a University student, the idea of being taught by someone like this kind of scares me. She behaves entirely unproffesionally, and her discriminatory rants have no place in modern academia.

The sociological argument that one cannot be racist against whites or sexist against males is nothing but a rationalization, an excuse to justify bigotry against those groups. These "social justice" ideologues redefine racism and sexism as "prejudice + power", but even if you grant that this is true, they are admitting to being prejudiced against whites and males. For quite some time, the majority position in our society has been that prejudice is not acceptable behavior. Arguing that "sociologists redefine sexism and racism to exclude actions against whites and males" is an argument from authority fallacy... these sociological definitions are NOT the actual definitions of sexism or racism. Sociological theories are not fact.

There is no room in this discussion for such blatant disregard and hate for another race. Isn't that how we got here in the first place? This isn’t the answer and neither is having her as a professor at any school, pushing her racist beliefs onto others.
