An important factor in equality also entails equal responsibilities for equal deeds. Had she been a white, heterosexual male or female, she would have been fired a long time ago. Now she just uses her race and sex/gender identity to shield herself from critique and responsibility. As a University, and as people, you should endorse the equal treatment of Miss Grundy in this case and terminate her from the staff. By letting her teach in her current mindset and position, you are belittling not just the people she has directly attacked, but also the people who happen to share a skintone with her, who have definitely deserved better than to be treated like bratty children who are incapable of taking responsibility.

This person is filled with hatred and prejudice thus she has no business teaching anywhere. I have run into a teacher or two like her. They step on and destroy students. She would make a mockery of higher learning.

As a black man and father of a recent SMG graduate, I am appalled by Saida's comments. If the racism wasn't enough, it just came out that she ruthlessly mocked a recent rape victim for "white girls tears". Not only will I never donate, I will proactively dissuade potential applicants from joining this institution.

I am appalled and ashamed of BU for allowing this racist radical teach at your school!!! My granddaughter is a 2013 graduate of BU and I was so proud to go to her commencement ceremony. I thought BU was exceptional....however, by allowing this person to spew her hatred,her racism, and her all out radical ways, you have condoned her behavior! She needs to be fired NOW.....Your reputation is at stake.......I am so ashamed of you for allowing this!

Nobody should condone such blatant racism, regardless of the color of their skin. Saida Grundy is a perfect example of the extreme racism in this country that needs to be stamped out. B.U. do the right thing and hire someone that doesnt spout unnecessary hate to teach your students.
