I think it is disgraceful that the council feel it is perfectly acceptable to bring down what has always been a good, fairly affluent neighbourhood.

Tameside council have lots of empty properties in more appropriate places. The shelter should not be in a children’s play park.

the amount of anti social behavior coming from the place makes it unsuitable to be used near a childrens park

I took my daughter to the park at the side & we had to leave due to 2 adults completely under the influence of drugs or drink it wasn’t safe for children to play on the park

It's in the wrong place, shouldn't be near a children's playground.

This is ruining Ryecroft and the surrounding area.

Agree with previous comments. This is not a suitable use for the building next to children's play area

All for the BEN scheme, but not next to a children's park, there are other locations suitable.

Ryecroft hall was left by its original owners to the people of audenshaw don't think it's appropriate for homeless use I am aware something needs to be done but a better place could be found that's not as near to a children's playground

Unsuitable location next to a children’s park. Get the location right and the scheme could be positively received by all.

Totally agree and support the BEN scheme, but totally wrong place to put it. Fights and drug taking on the grounds of a childrens play park? Intimidating behaviour and I now have to drive to another park because I'm uncomfortable/scared of taking the kids to the park that is of walking distance, by myself.

Absolutely the wrong place for this scheme. Who ever thought of putting it next to a children's play park and two primary schools a stones throw away must be mad!! Fights, abuse, drugs really?? Not what I signed up to when I bought my house and started a family!! Andy Burnham open one up on your own doorstep if you believe in it so much!
