I just echo what everyone else is saying. It's a great cause, but near to a children's park I feel is not the best location. I'm a big believer that we should support homeless people, but many also are battling mental health issues and addictions. My children use to play there, but I would definitely have thought twice about taking them there now. I feel complete empathy for anyone homeless, as anyone of us could get into that situation. However I'm questioning if the location has been thought through.

Ryecroft is a central part of the surrounding community and should remain that way. Please keep thos thriving centre open.

I like the idea of what is being done for the homeless people but think it’s a really nice area and park and there is not many left in Tameside where you feel safe . And it is taking that away . When I have walked on the Park there have been people looking ‘dodgy ‘ hanging around next to play pit and people smoking marijuana and others who are clearly under the influence of something much stronger and I’m not happy to see this in the community

I have no objection to the Bed For A Night scheme but I object to the location - not suitable in a children’s park ! There must be other buildings which could be used ( where children are not playing )

I have young children who use the park & they shouldnt be exposed to the increased risk plus I pay council tax for the privilege of that.

Nobody should be homeless . I feel Oliver Charlotte and Teresa and Pam took the backlash for Nr Burnham and Mr Pleasant . Maybe they should go to cornerstone and speak to Sister Rita . Audenshaw isn’t the right environment.

There are so many empty buildings in the centre of town which would be much more suitable

Don’t object to homeless people being housed, but far to near to the play area and is also de-valuing the property in the area .

The service is a good idea however the location is not, needles being found in the park nearby and police there alot breaking up fights.

School close by , not good, I walked pass the other day and one of the residents from there was drinking a can of beer then threw it in the ground.

I have lived in this area all of my married life and my children have grown up here and have played on the beautiful Ryecroft park for many years, but we are now very reluctant to allow our youngest daughter to play on the fields around the park because of the types of people that are now haggling around on there

Wholeheartedly support the scheme but the location is inappropriate. My children not playing in the park due to the situation and that’s wrong on every level.
