Petition to Sutherland Shire Council to review the current laws with respect to recreational beach access for dogs and horses in Kurnell.

Please don’t ban horses and dogs from Silver beach!

Please allows us to use this space for our pets. There aren't many places left in the shire where our whole family can enjoy time together.

You need to start listening to and looking after your residents. We love the shire for its laid back feel and having our space away from the rat race. Sadly you are turning our slice of heaven into another over developed over regulated hole

Shame on council trying to restrict animal access on Silver Beach. Some of my fondest childhood/teen memories are of riding my horse along this beach. Shame that opportunities like this are being shut down by council.

Just leave a bit of the old in Sutherland Shire, it’s not broken so don’t change it, let’s this is part of Kurnell history

Stop the nanny state taking away public freedom to enjoy their natural surroundings in a responsible way!

We must be allowed to exercise our animals and be able to take them out enjoying the area with our families. The very limited areas we are allowed to take pets at limited times is getting less and less. Australia is all about outdoor living and enjoying the beautiful environment and weather we have all year round. Our pets should not have to miss out on this either.

You should be able to walk your dog or ride a horse on this beach! Scandalous council trying to make this awful change

I’m in favor of the animals going there -

Keep Kurnell animal friendly, with an already backward council, regarding dog areas. Go and look for new revenue streams elsewhere.

Why can't dogs be on beach. Its healthy for them and their owners to walk on the sand. As long as they have their poo bags. Shame on you.

We need to keep these places open for dogs and horses.

Our animals deserve to be treated with a cool down at the beach.

Why does the council want to restrict animals from walking along the beach..why change what families have enjoyed for many years..the next question is “ who is benefiting from this change”... Sutherland Council doesn’t seem to consider families in the Shire..

Off leash dog areas are becoming harder to find. Don’t place unreasonable restrictions on an area that already works well.

Please allow our animals to enjoy the environment. This encourages children outdoors and with Australia’s high childhood obesity please allow horses and dogs who are accompanied by children out door space together.
