Petition to Sutherland Shire Council to review the current laws with respect to recreational beach access for dogs and horses in Kurnell.

To Sutherland shire council please leave this a pet friendly beach!! It’s very much needed in the shire.

I used to ride horses at Kurnell many years ago and think that there should be some areas available to ride and swim horses at the beach. We used to love taking the horses for a swim

Times that dogs and horses can use the beach would be good like before 8am after 5pm

Please can we preserve the very special and unique village of Kurnell. Part of the history of the area revolves around its relaxed family and animal friendly atmosphere. Please council, history is important!

I grew up riding and walking my dog on Kurnell beach. This is important to so many. Dont let the last good thing on earth dissapear.

Give the animals a brake , no damage to earth only humans do with our rubbish and pollution

I think it is imperative to have areas that allow access for horses and dogs on current beaches in the Sutherland shire. Too many special privileges being lost in the Shire

As a former Kurnellian of more than 40 yrs, im very upset at these rules. I grew up riding horses on the beach and walking the dog on beach, There is plenty of room at Bonna point for horses and dogs and people. Its a beachside suburb that shpuld be for people n animals alike

There are not enough local areas for exercising the animals we have now, let alone restricting these areas; when we have more & more migrants & their pets entering the Sutherland Shire, Our Council has a lot to answer for with some of their decisions they are making at the present time.

Years ago I rode horses here as a child and teenager. They were some of my best memories. Its so sad if horse lovers at Kurnell are confined to riding in an arena because of councils ridiculous regulations. That bay has alot more pollutants to worry about other than a few horses. I strongly oppose this decision and hope the council changes its mind.

My dogs love this beach and so do I!

Let people have a beach left in the shire for their beloved pets!
