It will creat division in the church since the other father was dissmiesed as well

1- Has left the church on multiple occasions for many different reasons and did not reach out to us during his time off or ask about the service (lack of leadership)
2- Left us during Holy Week and didn't pray with us or even ask if we wanted to pray with him although Father Benjamin went above and beyond to make the prayers happen (lack of leadership, pastoral care, and spirituality)
3- Mentioned many times on separating from the diocese and from St. George Astoria itself (lack of obedience, love, and pastoral care) Why does he want to return now?
4- Doesn't listen to his servants, always insists on his ideas, and is never willing to meet halfway (Again, lack of leadership, no administrative skills, or compassion. Where is the quality of fatherhood? )
5- Has made absolutely no effort to jumpstart any graduate service. When a graduate service began after January 2020, he made no effort to be a part of it
Unfortunately, since the passing of our beloved Father Rewais, no attention has been given to the youth, young adults, and children of this church. While I respect Father Antonios very much, he did nothing in the 6-7 years he was present in Astoria. We lost more people than gained, he never attempted to coexist with Father Benjamin, and the church was not moving anywhere. I respect the opinion of the other side who want him to come back, but there are no solid reasons as to why they want him to come back. His voice is nice, he was spiritual, but his lack of obedience is against the teaching of the Bible and I would not want my kids to be taught by him because obedience is a virtue that involves love which is missing right now. I pray that God does what is best for the church and for its children and that we learn to obey our leaders and their decisions.

I never felt his fatherhood towards me or any support to show that I am one of his church sons. Despite my numerous trial to understand him or come closer to him. His actions contradict his preaching

Father Antonious has always been blessed with everyone of us. He is a warm and friendly person with a deep love of God.
We look forward to his returning back to St George coptic church in Astoria, as he leads us on the road to strengthening our Coptic orthodox faith.

كان من اسباب انشقاق الكنيسه تغيبه المتكرر حتي في ايام الجمعه العظيمه اشد احتياج الشعب للخدمه

This is absolutely ridiculous that there are rumors for him to come back.
He is a very selfish person.
All he had to do was love Abouna Benjamin back.
He betrayed all the kids and the youth and the congregation.
He only cares about himself.
All the people making noise for him to come back didn’t even like when he was there. They just like to cause problems and are weak and don’t stand up for what’s right.
Abouna Souriel is the perfect fit for the church and it’s people.

- Abouna Antonios is the reason I was going to stop serving.
- He is the reason many servants/ individuals left church and did not come back
- He was very stubborn and did not listen to anyone’s ideas but wanted to make every decision on his own.
- He kicked people out of church on a Friday night when we wanted to stick around for some fellowship after a meeting.
- He left the church for months and waited for the congregation to run after him to bring him back.
Besides all that, he’s calling individuals adults and little kids telling them to fight for him to bring him back to church.

كثيرا ما تكلمت فندمت
أني غير مستحق لإدانه غيري ولكن اذا كانت هذه شهاده لإنقاذ جيل من الضياع ساجاهر بها في كل مكان
١- سبع سنوات في خدمه الشباب ومدارس الأحد ولكن دون ثمر لقد حاول كثيرا ولكنه فشل وذلك لقله خبرته وتجاربه المتعددة في نقل بعض الخدمات من أماكنها وتغير مواعيدها مما أدي الي فقدان المخدومين والخدام
٢- حاول تجديد بأفكار غربيه كانت ستؤدي لضياع جيل كامل وذلك تقارب الفتيات مع الفتيان في سن مبكر والخروج سويا خارج أسوار الكنيسه ثنائيات ولد وبنت دون الرجوع لوالديهما وبدء بالفعل ولكن تصدي الخدام وأولياء الامور لهذه التجربه الغير مدروسه وانقاذ اولادهم من الضياع
٣- الاستغناء عن بعض الخدام المشهود لهم بالخدمة المتميزة علي سبيل المثال ( مريم مقار)
٤- عدم توزع المسؤليات وعمل درس مجمع يظن انه الوحيد القادر علي توصيل المعلومات وعدم الثقه في الخدام المسؤلين عن أولاد مدارس الاحد
٥- اختصار القداس ليتسع الوقت للعظه التي تؤدي الي سلبيات وتخويف
٦- رغم حفظه لكثير من الألحان لم يتلمذ صف ثاني
اَي من وجدهم حافظين هم الموجودين حتي اليوم
٧- تعطيل الخدمه وعدم تشجيع الأفكار الجديده وعدم سماعه إلا لنفسه
٨- الغضب السريع وتغيبه عن الكنيسه تصل الي ٦ شهور ويرجع بشروط
٩- إقامته في ولايه نيوجرسي يقلل من تواجده بالكنيسه
١٠- باب مكتبه مقفول بصفه مستمره امام من يحتاجه
١١- اختلافه مع كثير من الخدام مثلا مع بعض أعضاء مجلس الكنيسه القديم وتصاعد المصادمة الي أسلوب غير لائق
١٢- رفض تناول احد الشباب من الأسرار المقدسه لمجرد انه لم يعرفه وهو من شعب الكنيسه ومن سكان اوستوريا ولم يستمع لوالده وادي الأمر لخروج العائله من الكنيسه مع بعض المقربين
١٣- وقوع الكثير من الشعب في خطيه الادانه
١٤- توقف القداس اكثر من مره لمجرد سماع صوت طفل
١٥- مقارنه خدمه ٧ سنوات بخدمه الشباب خلال ٤ شهور في ظروف الكرويه تشعر بالفرق في زيادة عدد العائلات والشباب بالكنيسه

١-غياب ابونا المستمر عن الكنيسه بالشهور كل سنه
٢-دائما يغلق تليفونه في هذه الفترات ولا يهتم باولاده
٣- يعقد الخدمه و لا يقبل راي الاخر فتتعطل الخدمه
٤- دايم الغضب حتي في اجتماع الخدمه يغضب و يتركه دون مناقشه حتي يذهب الخدام و يصلحوه
٥-يضم فصول مدارس الاحد اعدادي و ثانوي فيتسبب في فقدان الخدام من الخدمه
٦- لغي مدارس الاحد مرحله ثانوي يوم الاحد
فاصبح الاولاد لا يحبون حضور القداس
ولو حضروا يخرجوا ماكدونل لان ليس لهم فصل
٧- خصرنا اجتماع الشباب ولا يوجد خدمه للشباب بسبب اسلوبه
٨- خصرنا ٦سنوات كره اولادنا حضور القداسات
لانهم لا يعرفون حاجه عن الحان الكنيسه
رغم ان مهمه ابونا انطونيوس الاساسيه رعايه الاولاد
وتعليمهم
٩- لو اجتمع الشباب لممارسه انشطه رياضيه مثل البنج
كان يطردهم و يقول روحوا
فيحصر الشباب و يروحوا القهوه محدش يطردهم هناك
