We have attended this show for the last number of years and the show has been wonderful. Our girl scout council needs this revenue to support all the programs offerred to our girls. The council has made every accomodation to the community to make this a safe community event. Let's not let a few try to take this event away from the opportunities it provides for so many girls.

i took my son for the first time this year. he loved it! i have good family friends that work for this corporation, and who work hard to put on this amazing light show. it's for the holidays and it's done in good spirit. have a heart.

A handful of NIMBYs move into the area and try to shut down a wonderful tradition and fundraiser. Please do not shut down the light holiday light display enjoyed by the majority to shut up a vocal minority.

The GSSC Holiday Light Show has become a tradition for my girls and their friends. Each year we look forward to the show and make our plans early. It truly is one of the best light shows anywhere on Long Island and how wonderful is it that the show is on Camp Edy grounds and that the proceeds go directly to supporting the Girls Scouts Organization. Moving the show to another location is far more complicated than you would expect. The build and setup would place at risk the many wonderful displays and who would be able to oversee and ensure that the displays are not vandalized? Camp Edey is a wonderful location that is manageable and successful. Please allow this event to continue at this location.

My girls and all my friends go every year! This year was better than Jones Beach !!! Please don't get rid of it. My girls will be devastated!!!!

This event financially supports so many programs. The Girl Scouts have been there on that site long before many of the resisdents that are on that street. They knew the camp was there when they decided to purchase their dwelling. The Girl Scouts have taken every reasonable measure to be sure the light show would run as smoothly as possible. It is 10 days out of 365!! Give me a break people.
