I oppose of the ebook, as a student we are not financially ready. This should be the option of the student not those that do not have to pay for this fee.

This is the way the chancellor intend to pay for that $75 million new administration building. Read the report on fox news website written by Erin Nichols.

The chancellor and the broad of trustees should be voted out. They lied to us by stating that it was something that the faculty & Adjuncts appoved when it was the opposite. They also lied to the media stating that the new adminstration building wasn't going to cost the taxpayers or students anything. So, here the proof how they are going to pa for that $75 million building.. They Alamo District stands to make millions off this neww E hooks fee when it's against the law for them to make any profits off this. We need media attention ASAP.

Faculty & Adjuncts disapproved of this, it was still decided. Not happy.

I don't like the idea of having e-books. I tend to do better when I have physical paper in front of me, that way I can higlight and take notes as I please. Not only that, but being in front of a screen for too long hurts my eye sight.

I don't have enough money to be buying textbooks for my classes, especially if the teacher says that he or she does not use it.

This is really not a good idea, computer screens are bad enough for your eyes anyways, textbooks are so much easier. Please leave that choice to us and let us get our books wherever we want to.

Everyone has a different way they learn. For me, staring at a computer screen gives me a headache, so the hours of studying Anatomy and Physiology would not be possible with an eBook. I also am poor and don't have the funds to purchase the special nook/tablet that could solve that problem.

In my personal opinion, I rather read a book that being in the computer, you can carry a book anywhere, whereas lap or notebook you can't, and some professors have great books that fit different learning styles, like Flyover History is was fun reading it, and a lot of more books out there. As it is people is not reading what do you think will happen if they do not have books available.

I find it hard to get a tablet due to financial issues, i already have to pay for my classes out of pocket so I have to get my books on line for a lesser price in order to keep expenses a bit lower. I am afraid I will not be able to afford paying full price and still having to buy a tablet!

Flyover History is a great book! It would be a complete disappointment if other students were not given the opportunity to learn from it.

The professors should have the final say as to what textbooks should be used.

I think the freedom of professors being able to choose the textbook for their class is important. Many of the staff members and students are highly concerned.
