The country has made its decision!!

Updates

June 25, 2016

I have been hearing from so many of you who feel ignored by the ongoing attempts to overturn our collective result. We need to stay focused on the fact that the decision was already settled by the public.

June 25, 2016

Seeing this level of support confirms that so many of us remember exactly how we voted and why we stuck to it. It is heartening to know that people recognize we have already settled this question.

Totally ridiculous that we are even having to do this! We live in a supposed democracy, where the majority vote wins. Nothing should change that!

The result of the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union will be final. The Government would have a democratic duty to give effect to the electorate’s decision. The Prime Minister made clear to the House of Commons that “if the British people vote to leave, there is only one way to bring that about, namely to trigger Article 50 of the Treaties and begin the process of exit, and the British people would rightly expect that to start straight away”.

I don't usually get involved in politics but I voted to exit because we were not asked if we should join, the government imposed EU on us, then prices went up, VAT was added, the NHS has suffered, etc. Get us out quickly!!

The decision has been made. Let's move forward and not waste any more time or money on a second referendum.

For years the voting system has been for aged over 18 . As adults parents we voted for our younger children and grandchildren in mind . Leave won fair and square . What if a second one failed to please when would it stop .. A third a fourth . . Under 18 not eligible to vote as in any voting or uk laws ..

What is the point of voting if it doesn't count? Nicola Sturgeon has destroyed peoples democratic rights.

Leave won fair and square, remain cannot demand a 2nd vote because they didn't like the first result. Democracy should not be over-ruled
