The result of the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union will
be final. The Government would have a democratic duty to give effect to the electorate’s
decision. The Prime Minister made clear to the House of Commons that “if the British people
vote to leave, there is only one way to bring that about, namely to trigger Article 50 of the
Treaties and begin the process of exit, and the British people would rightly expect that to start
straight away”.

I don't usually get involved in politics but I voted to exit because we were not asked if we should join, the government imposed EU on us, then prices went up, VAT was added, the NHS has suffered, etc.
Get us out quickly!!

Leave won fair and square, remain cannot demand a 2nd vote because they didn't like the first result. Democracy should not be over-ruled

This is ridiculous do not allow 2nd referendum!! The vote result was to LEAVE and should remain that way. It's not democratic if people can say after the event 'Oh I didn't like that result so lets do it again'! Definitely Not!! I think the government should send those calling for a 2nd referendum a 10-page guide explaining to them what democracy means and how the democratic vote works! OUT MEANS OUT!
