I am all for commerce being a small business myself. However, this is still a neighborhood full of families. We all know where this leads.

We live 3blocks away, my children and I regularly walk and bike right by the Don's. This is not what I envision for a neighborhood store!

I just purchased a home 4 blocks from the proposed location and I strongly oppose any special use permit that would allow a liquor store at 327 Kings Highway.

That area is bad enough as it is.. Highland has SO MUCH potential! Why prevent bettering it just for alcohol..? Between all of the circle k's & other small stops around Highland, this is unnecessary & such a waste.

I live within 1.5 miles from the proposed location. Our neighborhood rejects this request for a retail liquor establishment.

We just fought a liquor store going in a few blocks away. This is madness. We shouldn’t have a weekly fight to protect the safety and integrity of our neighborhood. This location shares a fence line to residential properties. My children and I regularly walk to the post office past this location.
We have a home in this neighborhood that we have invested in and take care of. It is devastating to think our safety and property values are continually under threat. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR LIQUOR STORES. Families and hard working people own the homes behind King’s and businesses like this have no place here. Can the planning commission meet with our neighborhood so we can develop a plan to attract businesses that offer value to our area and reduce crime?

Liquor stores are not what we need or want in the middle of our neighborhood, only 2 blocks from an elementary and a high school.

Letting a liquor store have a zoning variance or whatever the correct term this is not needed in our neighborhood. There are already gas stations and grocery stores selling wine and beer, and there are other liquor stores within a very short distance. We have a nice, residential corridor and would like to keep it that way. To recap: this 1) does not fulfill a need, and 2) is not desired by the neighborhood.

We don’t need or want this business in our neighborhood. You cannot even make the argument that it will create jobs because they would be low paying jobs and it would cause lower quality of life for the citizens around it and for the families of its customers who like to indulge too much, neglecting their other commitments such as family and work.

We have enough of a problem with crackheads and trash swarming the circle K across the street from the propsed site. A Liquor store would only make it worse

Terrible idea to put a liquor store at this location. It is too close to an elementary school.
