The absolute most illogical choice of any possible location in Bend.

This site is, let's be honest, a ridiculous idea! Have any of the city planners, ODOT or any other official persons been involved in this decision and is there a realistic plan in place to handle what would happen to the west side of Bend. I know I do not understand all that is involved with this site decision, but, I also know that the area is already more than just a little busy and this would just be another poor decision by our city planners if they allow this to happen. Be realistic and as many people are already pointing out, please, plan for the future of this city and the school.

This OSU campus would add so much traffic to the area!

What arrogance! What a waste of our money. It appears that someone is looking for a big payday

The west side of Bend is not prepared to handle this level of growth. The traffic and parking issues are already a huge problem, adding to it without a plan to solve the already existing problems is madness!

OSU needs to get an Education on site planning. A west side bend Oregon campus location is not practical. Acquire land East of bend off highway 20. Plan for the Future. Do not become traffic locked on West side.

This location is not suited for any more traffic.

Please note that this university is OSU-Cascades. It is NOT the University of Bend. It needs to be easily accessible to ALL of Central Oregon. Bend's westside is an inappropriate placement

I think OSU Cascades should be located between Bend and Redmond. And definitely not on a old mine site that has potential to sink

Not a great place. There are better areas and one has already been saved and paid toward

As an OSU Alumni and a resident of Bend please consider the community of Bend and the future for us all to enjoy by placing the campus elsewhere. Thank you. -Tyler Roemer

Don't build there. It will be insane to the community.

This siting and its potential for waste are a travesty.

The Juniper Ridge justification was just for this type of use.? Students will seek housing on the east side where prices are lower anyway.

Why not use the existing land the city has already purchased on the east side of town that was originally considered for the site for the new campus. Then the 30k a month the city is spending/wasting to hold the proposed site could be utilized to fix the roads in town, but I guess that makes to much since. THINK PEOPLE!!

The state as well as BLM has land, which can be obtained free of charge, in areas that better serve the community and the future campus.

Students should be in school to learn. Extra circular activities should not even be an issue! That being said - the intended site would create problems other than just traffic and congestion. That however, being the biggest problem.

Building the campus at this location is INSANE. Totally opposed to it !!

It would make more sense to me to put OSU on the east or north end of town which would add to those areas of Bend with both the beauty of the campus along with giving the retailers in those areas a boost in business. The westside it simply over packed and already has a hard time dealing with the traffic flows.
