I support having OSU in Bend, but not at that site-- traffic, not enough housing, poor planning.

I fully support a university in bend but on a different location. Please consider the established community and impact the university and lack of infrastructure the university will have. Build a new west side feel, university neighborhood and make bend even more awesome.

Century Drive and Mt Washington both have too much traffic now. There is next to no housing available on the westside--not to buy or rent. If students are able to find a place to live, it will be most likely in other area of Bend! Keep their commutes short: saves gas, lowers pollution, and prevents traffic congestion! The eastside would benefit culturally and aesthetics would improve by building the college on the eastside or on the north end of Bend.

The location is NOT the best choice for the school. It needs to be out of an already crowded residential area'

Has anyone from the opposition to the Westside OSU/Cascades researched the health risks of building a university campus on an old pumice mine? The immediate and long term consequences of building the OSU/Cascades campus on the current disputed location are detrimental not only for the Bend community but for the students, the academic staff, the support staff, etc. I would like to understand why the current proponents of this location are so unwavering in their selection of this location. This feels like a real estate deal rather than an educational expansion for the community. For the four year university but against the location.

Totally rediculous place to put the college and not even reasonable given the pumice pit

Move the campus. Make a more accessible new growth area in central oregon. Mountain views are better on the east side.

This is not about NIMBY or against a University in Bend. It's about an illogical location. Siting in or on a pumice mine ........remember Summit HS?

FOR the university, AGAINST the west side location! The citizens of Bend showed good faith in supporting the expansion of OSU in our city - until you went behind our backs with plans to shoehorn the campus into the already busy west side. Please respect our desire to preserve our quality of life; move the campus to a more appropriate location.

A college that is using public funding should require the support of the community. Go ruin someone else's town.
