You all couldn't have picked a worse spot to put the new OSU buildings. Thanks for attempting to ruin Bend's westside.

Disgusting what they have done to the site. No regard to the trees or wildlife! Very upsetting for a 30+ year local. Juniper Ridge is the best location.

Why not make the university convenient to all central Oregonians not just the west side of Bend?

Too many traffic impacts for full time permanent residents.

Why is it necessary to cut down trees when the location is not even certain?! And this is not a good location either way.

Too crowded and overused area already, on major thoroughfare to tourist destinations, with expensive and nearly nonexistent rentals, no public transport, and challenging to access for those who cannot afford to live in the neighborhood.

The current site going to clog up the west side and cause huge livability issues. In addition, why should tax payers have to fork over 8-12 million dollars to fix the old mine site when OSU expands. It will be a money pit and the OSU people just don't seem to care. OSU and the state government continue to play the public as fools.

Bend native and avid skier. Put the college closer to 97! Tourism+college+westside= major congestion!

I support the idea, but not the location. Build it outside of this already packed town!

Plenty of open space for this university. No more Westside congestion!

All about location...traffic, traffic and more traffic. Century Drive already has long waiting lines at the round abouts.

Being a resident of Broken Top the location is really going to disturb the quiet area. The west side is way over capacity. No need for a college on this side of town.

The east side of Bend needs growth as well...the west side is congested enough.

Logistically it does not make sense to start construction, increase traffic, decrease parking in a high density area. With new legislation for free tuition the colleges will be less profitable. Tourists bring many $$ to our area but they will be discouraged by more and more college students and less and less parking.

The roads around here are just simply not built to accommodate the amount of people that are moving here.
The college definitely needs to be somewhere a lot more accessible.
Perhaps more along Highway 97 or even along Highway 20.

This is going to destroy our community. The west side of town is already smothered. Moving the college 15 miles to the east side of town would solve so many issues.

Westside location is short sighted. No growth potential and I think the neighbors and others have made it fairly clear that they do not want it in that location.
Juniper Ridge IS more viable and seemingly much better for growth of this plan.
Planners need to put aside any ego they are nurturing and explore options. Better suited to the Students, Neighbors and the entire Bend community.
