Thank you for all your hard work in getting this location stopped. The Bend City Council should be ashamed of itself for not requiring OSU to file a master plan when it is obvious that they don't intend to limit their campus to 10 acres!

I support a university in Bend, but one in a location with room to grow. The city of bend has not address current traffic congestion to the west side so how can we afford to put the university in a place thet is easily not accessible to all Central Oregon citizens?

Neighborhoods will be ruined
When rowdy students move in and start partying, like in Eugene and Corvallis. The campus needs room to grow, not squeezed into an already dense area with housing shortages.

not against a 4 year university in Bend but this was not a well-thought out decision to build it on the west side

The traffic is already out of control on Newport. People have taken to side streets due to the grid lock and all side streets including the one I live on has become a thoroughfare with people dragging the blocks to beat traffic to get to class. I can understand the lack of foresight building a community college not seeing the future many years ago, but with COCC there is already not enough infrastructure. One two lane residential road is not cutting it. Cant wait until we up the aunty. Progress at any cost deal with the consequences later. I thought we learned this lesson a few years ago. I guess whoever said memory is short was not kidding. I would love to see a study that actually looks at the traffic and asks opinions of the peoples lives this is actually going to effect. If they are going to put all this traffic on to Newport and 14th I would like to see the side roads dead ended. Thx

Please relocate this wonderful idea to place more accessible to all Central Oregonians and to one that won't be so expensive to "remediate" before construction can even begin.

Traffic, lack of affordable housing, and difficult to access for students coming from all parts of Central Oregon.

A university should be more than a middle school sized campus crammed into the middle of an established residential and business community and should be based on criteria other than the proximity to brew pubs and winter sports.

The campus should be centrally located. The campus should not be an attraction for foreign students or anyone else to recreate and party in Bend.

A campus on The Westside is the WORST decision ever made. STOP the madness. You are ruining Bend.

traffic congestion, no parking and no available housing close by for students. another site without a pumice mine and landfill would be much better

This area cannot bear that much more traffic. Another site should be considered. Or an expressway - but where would the money come for more highways???

I believe that a different location would better serve our community as well as the students who will attend the college.

Bend cannot "handle" this type of traffic or bear another Institution, in this particular locale~ There is simply not enough space, or living accommodations, in this City~

OSU should be built in another location! Present proposed site cannot provide access to needed schools in the neighborhood,
