I dont think it is wise enough to relocate the Volcani center, it is a strategic place where it is situated now. I believe it would cause more harm than good, therefore, I STRONGLY DISAGREE the proposed move and evisceration!

I participated in International R&D Course on Agricultural Engineering Technologies in Israel in 2012 at Volcani Center. As one of the beneficiaries of MASHAV Scholarship, I want to appeal to the Government of Israel not to relocate the center from its strategic current location at Bet-Dagan.

I think it is better to have such a wonderful agricultural center where many farmers, industries and universities working in the same field are present to enhance their skills and tackle their needs.

I am professionally and personally associated to Israel since 2003. It was through my alma mater "Volcani Centre" (my first international stepping stone) from where I began my exciting international career. As an alumni to this great and wonderful organisation, I don't want it to get relocated or eviscerated to any other place in Israel. The agricultural innovations which Israel pride at international level largely comes from Volcani center R & D activities. Any movement/ relocation/ evisceration of Volcani center from its current place will ultimately lead to the downfall of Israeli Agriculture.
So dear honourable Minister: please use king Solomon's wisdom and act wise.

I had been to Israel on scholarship in 2002 to attend the international course in R and D in irrigation and fertigation in controlled environment, its amazing institute and location is an easy access to even foreigners, students, farmers research scholars etc, so relocating the same is going to be disturbing and difficult for everyone including the staff working in the institute. its a humble request from all of us connected with this esteem institute, please give it a second thought.

Shalom.
I strongly support this petition to reject the proposed move and evisceration of Volcani Center. One of the factors for the successful operation of Volcani Center is its accessibility, that is, location at the heart of Israel where farmers, researchers and foreign visitors among others, can easily reach the Center for extension services and appreciate its high-impact applied researches.
Thank you Volcani Center for being part of my life.

The location of Volcani Center makes it accessible to most of the farmers in Israel. Moving it to the northernmost part of Israel will deprive most of the farmers the easy accessibility they hitherto enjoyed which made Israeli agriculture one of the best in the world.

Volcani Center and MASHAV offered me one of the best experiences i had in my career as a researcher. My gratitude. Volcani represents the heart and soul of Israeli agricultural research. I highly support this petition. It would be a huge mistake to move it from the central location.
All the best to all wonderful people at Volcani Center!

High class science can not be maintained without full governmental support. In order for Israel to produce and export high quality and quantity agricultural goods, science has to function at most.

Volcani should really stay at the location it is at the moment. As a beneficiary and a visiting scholar who spend 2 years at the institute, I urge the Government to re-think their plans to relocate the center.

As a member of the international research community that has participated in one of the International Research & Development Courses at the Volcani Centre through the MASHAV scholarship, I strongly believe that the Centre should be retained in its present location at Bet Dagan. The present location is conducive for advanced agricultural research of international standard.
