This land was dedicated open space years ago. Saving this open space is essentially free to the city. They've rarely done anything to maintain it so far. Just keep it the way it is. Don't let shady politics strip Santa Fe of every last shred of beautiful space with the guise of "affordable housing." Homewise's definition of affordable housing is far different from what is actually needed, but that's a different conversation. Yes, SF is in need, but not like this. We need parks. We need open space.

Stop consuming every square inch of open space in Santa Fe! Open Space is valuable in and of itself. Recognize and honor that.

Open space is proven more valuable than development to a city and S.Meadows open space is no exception. It’s loss to development of anything other than parkland is at best shamefully poor city planning at worst elected officials suppressing their constituents voices. It must be preserved for the good of the community

Keep the open space as Open Space. It is needed in this area. It is used in this area. It doesn't cost the city/county anything to maintain. Leave it alone. The mayor has open space on his drive home everynight that is probably taken for granted by the residents in the area. This Open Space is not taken for granted and should remain as is.

The Southside needs this Park and deserves this Open Space and more Open Space! And does no one consider the increase in traffic this will create in already over-burdened area streets? Time to step up for QUALITY OF LIFE while we still can! Thank you.

This is the only open space for these communities. There is no outlet in walking distance for any of us if this area is sold.
