Don’t just drain the lake, please drain & dredge all along the river too. I was in the flood and saw all the things going down the river. There may be cars, boats, roofs, parts of houses, propane tanks, water tanks, and no telling what else buried in the river. If we are going to safely get in the river again- ALL of this must be done!!

Drain the lake, find the missing.

Needs to be drained and cleaned so it’s safe for future use. There are still people missing, let’s get closure for these families, drain it!

The Kerr County lead has revealed that there are bodies in Ingram Lake as well as Nimitz Lake, but they have not been retrieved. And that is just one thing obviously. What is under all that gravel, more cars? Leaking out gas, grease, oil, brake fluid, steering wheel fluid, antifreeze, what about all of the people‘s canned goods that were in their homes, they will start rusting and food coming out with bacteria, everyone’s household, toxic, and poisonous cleaners, and on and on. And I’m sure the Ingram Lake is so shallow now. I understand they’re testing the water where the water flows down over the dam itself, but anything at any time can come up and start floating or rains can stir it up, I can’t imagine that Kerrville residence are drinking out of the Nimitz Lake water since it is down river from Ingram Lake.

Our family has owned property on the river for over 100 years. We support draining the lake to clean toxins and debris from the water.
