Stop the modernization of VJ. Building is not the problem, it’s the ugly buildings going up.

Some things are better left alone. Historic Valley Junction is one of those. We visit because of the historic character and charm.

Whenever I am searching for something made in Iowa, I go right to the place, Valley Junction. I love what I see and I'll keep visiting if Historic Valley Junction is not turned into another open air mall.

WDM is historic with small town atmosphere. To destroy that atmosphere would be a shame.

I do not currently live in WDM but do own our family home that has been in the family since 1896 at 7th and Vine. And I really hate the idea of VJ becoming another step mall townhouse area. Tearing down buildings just to build others is abominable.

The small town feel of HVJ is quickly becoming a thing of the past. It is begining to mirror the Jordan Creek. Area of WDM
