I think it's a shame to loose such a lovely spot where everyone loves to go to enjoy a nice meal or a walk on the boardwalk.

I visit home every year and always go to the Wharf for ice cream and to sit or walk around. I don't what the older people and the children will do if it is taken away. Give North Sydney a break.

Unbeleavable. Mayor and councillors have their own agenda, and it doesn't include listening to or respecting the people of the Northside.

You're going the wrong way. Wake up Council. I'm young and live in the CBRM and love Cape Breton and you consistently find new ways to get me to question why I remain here. There are better ways to do things. Start looking outside outside of your narrow viewpoint. There are excellent examples of alternative economies all over the world. If you're not willing to educate yourself to the possibilities of other solutions, move over and make room for those that are.

Archibald's Wharf as it is is a treasure providing a much loved and used recreation area for the local residents. There is no other green space/combined business zone around.

This will be one of the biggest mistakes ever........
sad that they're destroying the boardwalk.
Archibald's Wharf should be protected
