Having once lived in Alderney for 10 years I know how vital this direct link to the UK Mainland is. It must be retained for not only for tourism to the Island but also for the residents.

This is a route we use on a yearly basis as do many tourists and islanders.What a ludicrous thought to even think of taking away this route.

It would be disastrous for Alderney in so many ways if the Alderney/Southampton air link is not maintained.

A life line route does not involve a change of planes.
