Petition to Retain the Southampton/Alderney Air Link

This is not an air link. It is a true community life line.

This route has been in place as long as l can remember . It's a good and straight forward way to get to Alderney for so many visitors and islander's .The East Midlands Guernsey route is inefficient and long winded ..This will have such a detrimental effect on Alderney which in my opinion is a dying Island as it is . From being a prosperous place with many hotels , businesses , affordable housing for the local population and vibrant. To a place where business can't afford to operate, where there are few hotels to housing that is advertised as holiday homes ..This will quite frankly be a nail in the coffin for Alderney .

We use this route all the time be a great shame to not have a direct flight to the UK

Vital to keep this service!

I organise an annual trip for 60 visitors to Alderney. Please don't mess up the SOU-ACI route... It's the only one that works for us.

Loss of this link would be disastrous.

To stop this link would be disastrous for the Island

This is the only way for some people to sensibly get between the island and the mainland

Please don't. The whole way of life for many of us would be severely disrupted.

It is a necessary life link for all

We need the Airlink to encourage visitors.

The Southampton route is a vital to Alderney for us to have a direct link to the UK.

This link has been crucial to me travelling to alderney over the years. If this were to discontinue it would stop me, several others from spending time here. It would also stop economic and valuable growth of a beautiful place for tourists and local businesses to stay.

Alderney need this. It's getting more & more cut off. I was born/bred on Alderney & even though I can't afford to get back home....other people need to get to & from Southampton
