I feel this is a vital link to the UK. Travelling via Guernsey is not an easy option for many people. The island needs people to be able to travel there to make businesses more viable and encourage investment.

For years we've been travelling from the Netherlands to Southampton and to fly on to Alderney;
It's the only way to get to Alderney from here, so it is so important to continue this route for visitors aswell as for the people of Alderney!!

Alderney has to have a direct link to Southampton otherwise there will be a lot of businesses closing as tourist levels will drop drastically
