Petition to Retain the Southampton/Alderney Air Link

Great connection for frequently visiting UK for leisure, family and friends. Also great connection for visiting family to Alderney.

If the Southampton-Alderney route is discontinued, it is one more nail in the coffin of this island's future

This has to be kept as it is the only direct link to the UK from Alderney.

Been flying this route for the past 25 years crazy

It is so unbelievably important; how esle are you going to get on and off the Island? Sailing into Anneport is not an option for many people. My late cousin John Winckworth who was on the States of Alderney would, I think, have been appalled at the suggestion

I lived there for 6 years and still have family there. I can't imagine go I will visit without air travel. Please, You must retain It!

What would they do without it? Vital service!

The States of Guernsey should demonstrate it's commitment towards the island of Alderney to whom it purports to administrate and from whom it demands contributions. There are clear benefits for both Islands in maintaining this link.

This is a vital lifeline for Alderney - for its residents and for its fragile tourism industry.

The Alderney to Southampton route is absolutely essential for all who live on Alderney,for business and so many reasons.
