This will harm the economy of alderney and cause a lot of problems to residents and their off island families ( of which i class myself a member of). Please, please don't do this.

This link must continue, for the sake of those who live on Alderney and those who want to visit

This route is vital to Alderney for economic reasons and for the wellbeing of residents. The tourist trade would be severely damaged by the loss of the route and the damage to local businesses would be immense. Both Alderney & Guernsey will be badly damaged if the route is lost.

Born and bread in Alderney, but now live with my young family in the uk. The Southampton route is such a great service and essential for ease with traveling with a young family.

My family visit at least 4 times a year for a total of 7 weeks a year. We have been loyal to Aurigny and have never flown with Air Sarnia, Blue Islands or privately. Even when it was cheaper! I know many families who do the same. If Aurigny stop the Southampton to Alderney route, we would come for far less time and less frequently. The closure of a direct air link to the UK will harm the island, it is vital.

if this goes ahead it will kill the island. I personally don't want to go through 2 airports with 2 children just to get to the uk. We have flown to paris, spain, Portugal etc from Southampton, we wont go on holiday if this happens

To remove this lifeline from the residents of Alderney, and to further undermine a tourist industry on which many islanders rely would be a tragedy for the future of Alderney. It would be a highly irresponsible and frankly unsafe decision. Being abandoned by those in a position power is not, however, a first for Alderney.

Do not close this important link between the Islanders and the mainland. It is vital particularly for visitors too

It has to continue - my family rely on the link for our regular holidays on Alderney (and I've been coming since 1978!).
