I remember growing up playing in this park. The adults would play handball and us kids in the playground. It would be great for the residents of Queensbridge to be able to use this space for family fun.

This beloved park is a historical landmark for our Community. I went to Pre-kindergarten in this park. There was actually a school house, handball courts, and playgrounds for toddlers. It hurts me to see it being used as a "dumping ground", and no one has yet to invite members/residents for a sit down to have input into what they are doing back there. This is our HOME, and we need to be involved/consulted on all new developments happening in our Community.

This park needs to be restored, it use to have a sandbox for the children and swings way back in the day, hand ball was played there regularly also.
