Dear Prof. Ceniza,

Pit Senyor!

We express our concern over the midterm exam that is scheduled to be conducted this coming Saturday, January 14, 2022. Most, if not all, of our classmates have voiced their concerns.

First, the students living in the southern part of Cebu would be greatly affected by the closure of the SRP Pier Area because of the fluvial parade that will start at 4:00 a.m. and end at 8:00 a.m., followed by a procession of the Sto. Niño from the port area to the Basilica. In connection with this, the only way to the city is through N. Bacalso Avenue, where we anticipate a significant volume of various types of transportation. Second, students from the Lapu-Lapu area will be impacted by road closures imposed by the Fluvial Parade. Third, the vital means of communication will be blocked beginning at 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., as well as from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. Since most of your students take public transportation to get to school, we're worried that this will cause a lot of trouble for them.

Please consider our request that the midterm be rescheduled to Monday, January 16, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., or any other time or day next week that works better for you.

We are hoping for your favorable response regarding this matter.

Thank you!
