Salam Sejahtera,
Salam Malaysia Madani,
Salam UNIMASku Gemilang,
We are the final year students from Bachelor of Accountancy programme batch 2021/2022. We are humbly and respectfully seeking the consideration of the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Student Affairs and Alumni Division Unimas to consider rescheduling EBA 4013 Accounting Theory and Practice examination to another suitable date (suggested 3rd of July 2026) for this semester 2 of 2025/2026.
Based on the release timetable, our cohort is required to sit for 5 examination papers within 3 consecutive days without any gap between the examination days. As below:
- The first two papers are scheduled on 30th of June 2026, which are EBA 4023 Public Sector Accounting and EBA 4073 Internal Audit.
- The next day, another two papers are scheduled on 1st of July 2026, which are EBA 4083 Islamic Accounting and EBA 4013 Accounting Theory and Practice.
- Then, the last paper are scheduled on 2nd of July 2026, which is EBA 4043 Integrated Case Study.
While we understand that preparing an examination timetable is a complex process, but in our shoes as a final year students, it is a significant physical and mental burden for us. Sitting for multiple examinations in a short period of time limits the opportunity for sufficient revision and recovery, which will affect our ability to perform our best.
As this is our final semester, the outcome of these examinations is extremely important for our graduation and academic performance. Therefore, we are concerned that the current arrangement may unintentionally disadvantage students and potentially impact overall results.
With utmost respect, we kindly request to consider rescheduling EBA 4013 Accounting Theory and Practice to another suitable date (suggested 3rd of July 2026) to provide a reasonable gap between examinations. This small adjustment would greatly help us manage our preparation more effectively to maintain our CGPA and can graduate on time.
We sincerely appreciate the faculty and university management's time, understanding, and consideration of this matter, and we remain grateful for your continuous support towards Unimas student academic well-being. We deeply hope that our voice will be heard and receive thoughtful consideration.
Best Regards,
Final Year Accounting Students, Batch 2021/2022.
I feel very stressful and can’t perform well if the exam schedule is very tight.
