We, the fans, of the anime "Avatar: The Last Airbender" were very disappointed with M. Night Shyamalan's execution of the fantastic idea of making "Avatar: The Last Airbender" into a movie. "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is an unbelievably imaginative, mind-bending, and deeply philosophical story that is well deserving of being coupled with the most imaginative and mind-bending movie writer/director on the planet, Christopher Nolan (not the guy who directed "The Happening" and "The Village"). Allowing M. Night Shyamalan to direct book 2 and book 3 would be a tragedy, but not nearly as much of a tragedy as the movies never being made at all. The best solution is to reboot the movie with a new writer and director. Christopher Nolan, you are the best choice. Please do this for us.
