Scott Belcher is a wonderful caring teacher who dedicated his life to all of the children at NCHS!!! It hurts my heart to know he is getting treated like this!

From my limited connection with Mr, Belcher, I believe he has been an excellent inspiration to the young people he has mentored through the years. We need more more people like this. Please extend his contract.

I have attended concerts at Nelson County High School and I have always been impressed with Mr Belcher. I think a big mistake if you take away from the students someone who has surpassed his teachings. You will not find anyone that comes close to his caring and loving ways.

I really feel Nelson County is making a huge mistake firing Mr . Belcher ! The man was just stating his opinion, it’s a shame The school board doesn’t support employees more than this ! Nelson County High School will suffer this loss of this devoted Teacher . Please renew his contract !

He has also sacrificed a lot for this band including breaking some bones and having to spend lots of money on pieces for instruments including reeds.

Out of my 2 years at this school he is the most devoted person I have seen and heard, he may be near retirement but he has a right to stay. We love you mr B.

Mr Belcher taught me chorus through out my 4 years at nelson county high. He is a wonderful teacher amd a great asset to all!!!
