This park was not built for cricket . Safety hazard . Plus they kick kids teams off the property for trying to use the back stops .

No more adult cricket taking up entire park

All day Saturday and Sunday is way too much.

This park is too small for a cricket league. It is discusting that the players urinate in the park as well as change clothes.

This is my parents neighborhood. I see those guys every weekend. Has been kinda annoying

The nominal fee received by the city, doesn’t begin to cover the damages both monetary and emotional this cricket club(gang) has inflicted on the city of Watauga and it’s citizens.

Our city parks are for our children!

We need them out of there! It is dangerous and they are too close to our homes and vehicles. And they have also moved the bleachers that were by the baseball practice area.

please remove the non residence adult male cricket club from the park the park is for our children to play not them

Parks should be for family fun...exercise... little leagues... walk your dog...etc.

Cricket players disrespecting homeowners and chasing kids from the park has got to stop. I don't care about cricket or the jackasses playing, if one of grandchildren gets hit somebody will pay, either the cricket players or the city, make your choice.

The comments say I live in Keller. I don't. I live across the street on Jerri Lynn Dr. Watauga. Here is the letter I sent to the Mayor, the City Council and the Watauga Parks Dept. To Whom it May Concern, I am writing this letter as to the concerns myself, my family and my neighbors have in regards to the negligent and unsafe behavior occurring in the BISD Park. Someone has allowed adult male cricket teams to practice and conduct tournaments in our neighborhood park without consent of property owners and residents surrounding the vicinity disregarding the previous rules we had all agreed to that stated team sports would be allowed only for those citizens under the age of 16. These men use brute force causing imminent danger which could cause serious or life-threatening injury or death at any time to the children who commonly use this park. Balls have bounced off of our homes, cars and into our yards causing a nuisance. My first complaint to the Watauga Park staff was made in the summer of 2015 through the automated email system at the city’s web site. My complaint was that while walking my Blond Lab, my dog, toward about 30 or my personal safety. The thing I love about Texas is that men here, for the most part treat women with kindness and respect. They open the door for you and allow you to go in before them. Texas men treat you like a sister or a mother. These men leer at you as if you have made a trespass against them it’s just uncomfortable.so cricket players along the sidewalk that runs along Chapman they forced me off of the sidewalk. As I approached them they as a group and some of them making eye contact with me, backed up toward me forcing me to leave the sidewalk and walk into a pile of broken masonry that had glass in it and around the back of the cars not allowing me back to the sidewalk until the end at Jerri Lynn. They took over the entire space on the sidewalk. I have never had men treat me that way and with such disrespect.

One to many occasions have my property been hit/damaged. I moved to my house on Lampe directly infront of the park just because of this park this was the selling feature to me. It is very upsetting that I cannot let my children. Play outside on weekends at the park or even in the front yard of my own property due to the fact that they may be seriously injured or see a grown man stripping down to his boxers changing or urinating on a tree directly in front of my house. My seven year old daughter does NOT need to be exposed to this and unfortunately she has seen both. The men WILL NOT tell you when your property has been hit and will deny it and a extremely rude manor luckily we have footage on our Cameras and been seen by friends and family on several occasions. I have complained to the city of Watauga and the police department. This has got to stop. This park was not meant for grow men to play at.It is simply to small and dangerous. It saddens me that the little league and other kids are being kicked of the fields. If this was your house, your property, your children.. how would you feel.
