Yonge st is insane due to all the traffic and intersections running from the core up to st Clair and all the stores with their deliveries not forgetting the construction!

Mandatory operator licenses, and insurance for cyclists is needed, to ensure only qualified responsible bike operators mix with traffic. If you can't afford insurance, you should not be on the road. Uber, transit, and taxis exist for your to use. Fines for cyclists that operate on the side walk as well. Anyone using a bike on public property should have a license, and be over 14.

Please remove the bike lanes from streets like Yonge street. The lanes make traffic slower, and are actuall a danger to cyclists, who must pass vehicles on the right, through a drivers blind spot.

Make our streets safe by ensuring those that are on roads are insured and licenced.

Bike lanes are increasing exhaust fumes ( cars sit longer), increasing wait times for fire, police and ambulance, reducing quality of life for pedestrians (lack of regulation and enforcement means bikes now travel on sidewalks to avoid motorized vehicles using bike lanes).

What the bike lanes have done to Yonge is criminal. Emergency vehicles can’t get by because there is no where to go to get out of their way. E-bike delivery people use the bike lanes, go to fast and are constantly a frustration to not only drivers, but man powered bicyclists. I live off of Yonge and can have to wait 3-4 lights just to get out of my neighbourhood because Yonge is so backed up!!!

The city has gone too far. Stop putting bike lanes on arterial roads.

I live at yonge/st clair. Very few bike riders use the bike lane. Certainly does not warrant the traffic congestion the bike lanes create.

Unused and improperly located bike lanes are a major cause of the traffic congestion in Toronto.

Toronto has become one of the most difficult cities to navigate and bike lanes everywhere are a primary cause. Sadly they take up a disproportionate amount of space, with useage relegated mostly to out of control e-bikes with little or no adherence to the rules of the road. Apart from being dangerous and ugly, it’s chocking the city. We simply don’t need bike lanes on EVERY major artery of the city. We’ve cut almost in half the the ability to get around and we’ve done so 12 months of the year, much of it when bikes aren’t even in use! Please listen to ‘everyone’ in your city.

Thé bicycle issue requires sober oversight (which is definitely not provided by Toronto council or staff). It is impossible to move in this city and bicycle lanes cannot be added to busy streets as an afterthought. The economic implications of the current congestion level are horrendous and will continue to get worse. Also, in the part of the city I live in, bicycle lanes are seldom used and given the speed bicycles travel going south on yonge from st Clair can be deadly for bicyclists.
