The bike lanes in Toronto should be on lesser streets, not main arteries.

The current bike lanes in Toronto also block sidewalk access for the disabled and the elderly who need to be dropped off in front of medical buildings. This has happened on Young Street and needs to also be looked into.

Stop putting impediments to cars ,pedestrians and cyclists on arterial roadways. They are a waste of money for at least half the year and a safety hazard.

Very happy to hear that the Provincial Government is willing to get involved in this bike lane mess that City Council has created. The lack of a plan or vision is clear as we see nothing but grid lock traffic on streets with bike lanes and hardly any bikes using these lanes. How did council ever approve the bike lanes on Yonge Street between Bloor and St Clair. What did they think was going to happen when the subway is not running and dozens of buses hit this important north South artery….the incompetence is unbelievable

We now have Yonge Street with only one lane in each direction which is always stop and go. Does not permit emergency vehicles to pass which will cost lives. Never mind the additional traffic nightmare and time wasted. Bike lanes are underutilized and from late fall to spring have very little use. It is the drives who pay for the roads with all our taxes.

The Nike lanes are dangerous on Yonge. Prevent emergency vehicles and fire trucks ready access. There are dead end street near my street.
Dangerous to pedestrians, bikers abd vehicles.

Causing congestion, and here on Sheppard east of Yonge they are in the process if making traffic even worse for the few that may use it. Willowdale is a joke and if you see 2 cyclists using it, that's alot. These need to go. Make them thru parks alongside, not on, the walkways.

Please include the increasing of speeds on Arterial streets
Avenue road should be 50km top to bottom
Richmond exit off the DVP has recently decreased the speed from 50km to 40km per hour, As a driving instructor i suggest to new drivers that they should minimally keep speed at 50km per hour to prevent being hit from behind
MtPleasant from Davisville to St Clair being reduced to a 30km zone, WHY ?
And finally “Road Racing, the so called Professional bike riders should be outlawed on all Arterial roads. They are only interested in personal speed times, If the so called Professional bike rider had been riding in the designated ( physically seperated ) bike lanes on east side of Bayview extension last year he would still be alive .
The city is also to blame for greatly decreasing the merging distance from the DVP off ramp down to the Bayview exteb

purely commercial routes are being castrated such as westbound on between overbrook towards the go terminal. this route is obviously never used by bikes and just an excuse to cut 2 lanes to 1 lane.

Gridlock on Bloor West during the day with hardly any bike traffic, idiotic! Not to mention the winter bike traffic.

I want bike lanes but not on major streets! WE can do both but City Hall needs to listen to our concerns. Not continually rubber stamp bike lanes with no regard for local points of view.
