Instrumental city services cannot get past single lane traffic due to bike lanes

The cyclists are not respecting pedestrians and motorists. The bike lane should be on parallel side streets. The cyclists should stop to allow the car ahead of them to make their turn. It is an accident waiting to happen.

The bike lanes should NOT replace car lanes. I see the bike lanes as a hazard to drivers of all ages including seniors. The bike lanes lack consideration for emergency vehicles, garbage trucks, & snow removal vehicles. Also, the bike lanes and their design adds to traffic congestion (infamous to Toronto) and negatively impacts small businesses and impedes accessibility for potential patrons.

Bike lanes on busy streets take away necessary traffic lanes and restrict efficient travel … Eglinton Ave since the rebuild is a mess with car truck and bus traffic jammed up and minimal bicycle traffic.. Andy the LRT is not open! Disaster!

Yonge Street from Bloor to St Clair (where we live) is a total traffic nightmare due to the bike lane. In rush hour traffic backs up onto Rowanwood (our residential road) and the drivers engage in road rage with blaring horns etc for hours every day. Rowanwood is an emergency fire route but is now largely inaccessible.

The premier is doing the right thing, but don't stop at three streets. It must include Avenue Rd and prevent bike lanes on Eglinton Ave.

I’m all from safer infrastructure for cyclists but was has happened is clearly more about forcing people to stop driving cars than it is about helping cyclists. Bloor, Yonge and University bike lanes are a travesty. Use secondary roads.

Bike lanes have over run the city and been proven to cause major traffic in some areas. If cyclists want safety, stay off the main roads. As well, if bike lanes are avail. Cyclists should be ticketed if found riding on the road. Lanes give drivers a false sense of security as we expect cyclists to be in the designated bike lanes, just as cars are expected to remain on the roads. Remove bike lanes on on main roads.

You have literally killed the city with these idiotic bike lanes. Open the roads. Make them one way, like every other major city in earth. Stop the war on cars

Please remove the bike lanes on Bloor St west in Etobicoke. There are very few bicycles and meanwhile car traffic is backed up everyday! I’m a senior who often has to transport my disabled mother and her wheelchair, and the bike lanes have caused significant issues for us. Driving times have been increased and it is difficult to find accessible parking

Bike lanes result in traffic congestion not traffic relief. They promote road rage and the actual bike lanes r not even safe as the go from private lanes that flow directly in to traffic. The concrete barriers/ curbs and metal posts that define corners and lanes are a distraction to drivers as are the plethora of painted lane markings. If you think drivers are that poor, make it harder to get a drivers license! And what about a bikers license? If they need that much protection perhaps they too should qualify for a license. Insanity. Get rid of themmmmmmm!

Bike lanes should not appear on major arteries where mass transit can be used year round. E bikes are another unregulated activity that is dangerous to pedestrians with no registration or insurance required.

Remove ALL BIKE LANES on the city. What an imbecilic move on the first place. We need more lanes for vehicles ot fewer. Also remove the commute lanes on our highways for the exact same reason

Remove the bike lanes on Bloor Street West between Runnymede to Islington. Horrible traffic and pollution from idling vehicles.

Tired of sitting in traffic with no cyclists in the dedicated lanes, even better when the cyclists ride on regular lanes instead of the dedicated ones.
