The right decision is to stop bike lanes in the province ON.

1) remove bicycle lanes installed on Sheppard Avenue (arterial road) between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue. 2) Stop proposed bicycle lanes on Yonge St. between Sheppard Ave. and Finch Ave.

I don’t live in the city, but I am there driving all the time and have been for 25 years. The bike lanes have significantly increased my travel time in the city. Meanwhile, bike lanes are often unused, and those who do use them often don’t follow the rules of the road, don’t pay anything in insurance, and don’t have to be licensed. Yet, they get their own lane to do what they want.

Cars do matter. Tired of subsidizing irresponsible bikers. Get rid of the lanes, and make everyone responsible for their driving actions, including bikers that don’t follow traffic laws.

Bike lanes cannot come at the expense of drivers; they cause vehicles to (1) run idle for longer while struck in traffic; (2) move to residential areas where our kids play; (3) erode businesses; (4) increase frustration; (5) decrease productivity; (6) increase cost of delivered supplies. NO MORE BIKE LANES!

Traffic is absolutely a disaster and they are extremely dangerous. When opening my car door, I have to worry about getting hit by a car driving along. There is no room.

Thank you! Bike lanes on residential streets should also be removed, the city had changed side street travel configurations contributing to gridlocks polluting our environment, bikers riding directly against cars resulting very dangerous situation, vehicles parking permanently on one side of street impacting residents normal life, no timeframe available to arrange repair, service and delivery vehicles in front of property, furthermore, the street curbs start to grow grass and mold because no roadside garbage, leafs and snow are cleaned! It is destroying the basic hygiene of everyday living.

I hope they remove the bike lanes on danforth ave to victoria park. Ive seen ambulances stuck in traffic with nowhere to go because of these stupid dam bike lanes. Nobody had anywhere to pull over. Im sure there has been deaths because of it.

It is a pollution traffic and safety hazard to have turned Yonge into single lane traffic from Davisville to Bloor! Now Avenue road is a disaster from Bloor to Davenport because of more lane restrictions. There is nowhere to go…

Very disappointing that tax dollars were spent on a mode of transportation servicing 2-4% of population causing inconvenience to 70%+.

Let people travel through the city by car ! The city needs to use common sense. It’s not GREEN to give up traffic lanes for bikes on main arterial roads.

Remove the bike lanes! It takes me twice as long to grocery shop and get to work and home again. I am sick of it. Poor planning!!

Remove the bike lanes!! First responders are constantly waiting in traffic with their sirens blazing.. there is no room for anyone to move over to let them through!! Also, if I see one more biker riding at 70km/hr down yonge street in a bike lane, I will lose it. Someone is going to get killed. The entire situation is abhorrent!

Thank goodness and stop all future bike lanes. We need some main routes converted to one way to really get traffic flowing with lots of free parking to encourage local small business shopping. Thanks Doug Ford, you have mine and my friends votes.
