It is inconceivable to me that the Select Board has not already dismissed this action. The proposed punishment does not fit the circumstances. The only question here is did officer Brennan’s action protect the right a of the victim and that answer is a solid “YES”. Please restore him to active duty immediately. Town Policy is not law and the circumstances of the situation all fall in favor of restoring Officer Brennan.

Mr. Brennan is a model community letter from being involved with sports and scouts to running self defense classes few in hopkinton have done as much for me personally and the community at large as him.

I've known Tim for roughly 24 yrs. He is an outstanding person,officer and citizen of Hopkinton, he deserves another chance!! I lived in Hopkinton for 10 yrs before moving to Ashland

Tim always takes the time to talk with you, truly a lost art. This, of his many strengths, enables him to develop good sources of information throughout the community. His skills are critical to the HPD, needed to teach the predominantly younger trainees how to become effective law enforcement officers.
