Thank you for addressing this issue. I worked 38 years in aerospace, love to fly, love planes, but the drastic increase in training flights using the south runway at low altitudes has to be addressed.

I have noticed a lot more planes flying directly over my house. A few of them are the same plane. They are extremely noisy. I was under the impression that they had to turn left at Hawthorne Blvd. Thank you for looking into this.

Flight path is right over my house. Do not enjoy the jets….the smaller plans are fine and fun to see.

the low flying airplanes over via larga vista, via picaposte and valmont area has increased to such a frequency that it is like living at the airport. I often at time can see the people in the plane, that is how low the plane is flying over our backyard and the noise is really load. I am starting to keep a log of the frequency of the low flying planes. I fear if I were to want to sale my house, that if I did not disclose the noise and frequency that it woudl be considered withholding information a deterrent to selling property in Valmonte. We purchased our home in Valmonte in 1993 and the planes did not fly over our back yard with total disregard to closeness. It has been the last three years that the frequency, low flying over the Valmonte has increased to the point that I close our windows and reduce the amount of time spent in our yard. the take off and landing and low flying over Valmont is concerning not only due to the loud noise and frequency, but the main concern is to the safety to the area. I think that flying a plane woud be a wonderful experince and want people to enjoy flying, however the noise, frequency and the low flying planes over homes is not only nosie pollution, but a safety concern. I truly hope the situaiton will be addressed and a solution will be found for all to enjoy the sport of flying without diminshing the once peace, tranquility and safety of living in Valmonte.

Too much jet noise! Coming and going from Torrance Airport during very early or very late hours of the day, when you expect peace and quiet. Please do something about this unneighborly, inconsiderate noise!

Some days I feel like “I cannot handle this any more.” The noise of departing light aircrafts are just excruciating. Lived on this address for 30+ years and this uptick of commercial flight schools operation is enormously impacting our daily quality of life.

Flight pattern has changed recently. If we knew this was going to happen, we would never have bought a house here 22 years ago. Planes are flying way too low. That is very unsafe and dangerous. Planes are also making early left turns over my home and neighborhood. Some of the planes fly so low causing the windows to shake due to the vibration of the plane. It's unbearable to be in my backyard gardening due to the noise so I have to go inside. Trying to have a conversation while eating outside in the courtyard can be a challenge when planes are flying so low. The constant repetitive sound (noise and air pollution) of planes flying over and doing touch and go flights is decreasing our quality of life.

Stop the noise! Get back to the old pattern of flying out over the ocean and reduce or eliminate the flight schools. I can't hear conversations in my own home even with double-paned windows closed. It is ruining my family's quality of life and I fear it will hurt my property value. I also wonder about all the jet fuel adding to poor air quality.

A 25 year PVE resident, work from home and up until the last few months have enjoyed the infrequent flights over our home. It's become unbearable and now find myself making excuses to leave my home, my paradise just to avoid the noise. This has to stop!

I have lived on the boundary train between PVE and Torrance for 13 years and have never had a problem with the airport until the relentless low circling of training flights began a few months ago. It is an invasion of privacy, unsafe, and is creating an impact on quality of life and it could easily be avoided by altering flight patterns with minimal impact on pilots. My neighbors and I demand action to create a sensible alternative.
