Everyone deserves a second chance

Dear administration, I believe that the growth mindset we all uphold at IC is not less significant than the core values in the school's handbook, those that we try to carry forward at all times. We are very much shaken by what happened, but no one really knows what took place on the first incident, or the whole context of the matter. Let's try to understand the context better. I am confident in your wisdom to amend the extreme measure that was decided yesterday, and carry a more flexible approach in tackling the issue.

The decision issued by the International College (IC) to expel the student Malik Hamad — a son of this long-standing and reputable institution — is a disgrace to the school itself and to those who oversee it. Instead of standing by him and offering support after he was assaulted by a reckless youth who brutally attacked him, the administration chose to punish the victim rather than the aggressor. Beyond being morally reprehensible, this decision is also in clear violation of the law.

I will sign because I believe in forgiveness and second chances speacially at a v young age.

It should not be a permanent diss-missal. Two weeks with a warning is fair as the responsibility lies on his dad,

You must investigate well before you took the decision you can’t be forced by social media you have to do the right at the end he is a teenager and your responsibility to help him not to destroy his future before you take this decision did you notice the emotional feelings of him ? You as IC this is your way to fix issues ? I don’t think you are so strong and brave to face the issues by taking in consideration the both side and you must solve it wisely the dismiss him not the solution

Our IC student was bullied, harassed, and humiliated , while we are against aggression, our IC student has to be given the chance to learn from this experience in a positive constructive manner

Fair & another chance for Malek bilal Hamad

Since he is still young, only 16 or 17 years old, I believe he deserves another chance. Everyone makes mistakes, and this should not define him instead, it could serve as a valuable lesson for his future. Therefore, I am in favor of giving him another opportunity.

He derserves to be in school

He made a huge mistake let’s guide him instead of only punishing him

He shouldn’t be punished since he only reacted in self defense. He deserves to remain in such a great school and not have his whole future ruined.
