Malek should get justice not punished !!! He is the victim of an armed (knife) robbery and he was physically attacked by an adult !! We should all be supporting Malek and give him moral support.

I suggest doing community service for the rest of the year and taking anger management courses is the solution

I am an ACS mom & i felt that the decision taken to expell Malek is a bit too much since this will affect his future & seperating him from his community for protecting & defending himself is alot. The video is bad, but we all make mistakes & i believe he was misled to the way he should have acted.

Look at both sides of the story, being aggressive isnt a solution, but it’s worth checking both sides before judging

He is a kid after all and kids do mistakes and learn , the fault goes to the adult that was not a good example , if he gets kick out this will really encourage the kid to be more aggressive and leads to violence, everyone deserves a chance to correct him/her self.

While i completely understand the school's stance against violence, i believe expulsion is too severe in this case. The incident did not take place in IC property, and this student has always shown respect, strong morals, and ambition. He is known to be hardworking and well-mannered, with clear goals for his future. One difficult moment should not erase of positive behavior and dedication. I fully agree that there should be consquences or formal warning rather than full expulsion. This approach wiuld uphold IC' values while still allowing the student to learn from his mistake and continue his education . The future of our children is too important to give up on them when they need our guidance most. I truly hope the administration will reconsider this decision with compassion and undersdanding .

The whole truth should be revealed and the school must investigate first

This situation doesn’t deserve an expulsion. The student is still a minor. The consequences should be given by the parents, not the school, since this happened outside of school grounds. Malek is still a child and he deserves an education. He is a smart and ambitious student and has never been in a physical fight before this. He’s been at IC since he was 3 years old, and kicking him out is a very unreasonable and unnecessary decision. The situation doesn’t deserve such a big consequence that can potentially alter his future.

Every child has the right to learn, and this kind of punishment is wrong
