We don't need awareness, we need action.

I want to feel safe the place that is now my home - and assure my parents far away, they do not have to worry

After watching someone getting robbed outside my apartment a few weeks ago, walking home at night is more that. sketchy.

I don't go to stellenbosch often but when I have gone I have to say that it doesn't feel the safest of places.

Every student should feel comfortable enough to walk to their flat at night.. this hasn't been the case for a while! Change is needed

Evening test should be mad in the afternoons because fininshing at 10pm will certainly not help the situation.

It's sad that the campus is currently so unsafe.

I am a day student that needs to drive in to Stellenbosch. I feel increasingly threatened on campus, especially at night and over weekends, when I need to come in to campus to finish projects on campus computer programs.

An improvement in safety standards is no doubt, I have had 2 bikes stolen this year already and friends being stabbed or mugged. I don't want to hear about it anymore! This must be the end of it all!!

I think an upgrade to security is definitely necessary, its unfortunate that it has taken an incident like this to bring enough attention to the issue, I think there is a lot more crime going on than even we know about.

Just went to write an evening test 2 weeks ago, came back and the car was broken into. IN THE MERRIMAN PARKING LOT, even though the car was standing right by the robot. Funny how no one saw considering that this test finished at 19:30.
