Stop the crime in Stellenbosch! I don't want to walk to my car alone anymore! That poor girl was kidnapped and I walk past that area everyday! Ek weet nie wat gedoen moet word nie, maar so kan dit nie aangaan nie!

My car window has been broken in to twice with nothing even in the car to be stolen. I've also had thieves helping themselves to anything they wanted in every single "security" complex I've lived in. This is really out of hand.

Students should be safe at all times.

I believe that theft and violent crime is not only an issue on campus but the whole of central stellenbosch. Ive seen broken car windows in broad daylight and now a kidnapping, why are we paying parking if they cant protect us? And why have two of my bicycles been stolen at engineering faculty during the day and still the fines handed out are for the students who park on university grounds but dis not register for parking. How come the university and police are so efficient when it comes to money they collect but not our safety?

It's sad that one cannot enjoy being a student in SA. Students are permanently fearing for their possessions or lifes. Something needs to be done to protect (future of SA) these students from these hoodlums! Eradicating these pigs comes to mind.

Do not feel safe!

It's all fun and games to stop tests at night but come on, USBD are doing a crappy job. I have never seen a security guard on the so-called 'green route'. Why do we have to call them to walk us home? We've been told they patrol the route 24/7… They stopped cutting locks in res so that they can spend more time making sure students are safe and look bob's your uncle, 4 attempted kidnappings this year.
