The cases of Covid are rising and also more kids are hospitalized due to Delta variant. Since the long effects of covid are still under research, the vaccine rate is still low and breathing in air when close to an infected person is one of the main reason to get the Covid, wearing the mask is very important and helpful to protect the kids. Please make masks mandated!

Both the Miami county and Palm beach county public schools have required mandentory mask wearing policies. Ad Hendenson administration should do the same thing following the simple science fact.

Should FAU refuse to implement scientifically validated and CDC-approved medical safety measures, including vaccine passports, mandatory masking, and social distancing, then faculty, staff, students, visitors, and other stakeholders may reserve the right to hold the Administration at FAU, the Florida University System, and the State Government of Florida joint and severally liable for all costs and damages associated with Covid-related illnesses, deaths, and disabilities, in themselves and family members, stemming from Covid infection while on campus or satellite facilities. In addition, all affected faculty and staff may be entitled to file Workers Compensation claims related to work-related Covid disabilities. Students may request tuition refunds and/or litigate for damages stemming from interruption of their education and resultant adverse effects on future career goals.

The university requires vaccination for Measles, Rubella, Meningococcal Meningitis and Hepatitis B. If these are important, how can Covid-19 not be important? Students can opt out of vaccinations with medical reason.
I had a student in my office last week who cannot come to classes on campus because of compromised immunity system. Who looks out for his safety?
We have faculty and students with small children they need to protect.
The SUS should decide that every SUS school needs to require vaccinations. The State Colleges should decide the same. Every school board should also require vaccinations.
The governor can then spend his time trying to punish a hundred or more entities that have acted responsibly.
