The failure to require vaccinations, masking, social distancing and regular testing shows a total failure of the FAU administration and total lack of care for students and staff. As a parent I promise you if my child gets sick, I will sue everyone in FAU administration.

My daughter is a freshman and was deeply disappointed to be one of the few masked as this weekends orientation. Please mandate masks!

The failure to require vaccinations and masking for on-campus activities risks the physical health of all of us in the FAU community. We - and our administration - can do better.

I ask that the FAU Administration require all students, faculty, and staff who plan to live, study, or work on campus be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before the start of the Fall semester.

This may include physical and/or psychological injury stemming from aggressive confrontations with students who refuse to abide by health and safety requests in class. (2) All affected faculty and staff may be entitled to file Workers Compensation claims related to work-related Covid disabilities. This may include, but not be limited to, total and permanent physical, cognitive, and emotional disability resulting from long-term Covid and its effects. (3) By compelling students and faculty to work in unhealthy and unsafe condition, FAU may be in violation of U.S Dept. of Labor Occupational Safety and Heath Administration (OSHA) rules. Students and faculty must be able to require masks and social distancing in classrooms in order to create safe classrooms for EVERYONE in the FAU community. We are an institution of higher learning - how can we NOT follow the science on this??
